Happy Valentine’s Day

14 Feb

Yes, yes, I believe that this holiday is a Hallmark Holiday. Always have.  BUT, there is a good message that comes with it – be good to those around you.

I don’t feel you should show your love to friends and family only one day a year – I feel you should treat EVERY day like Valentine’s Day.  Why should you only show them once a year?

I used to feel I had to spend this day with that *one* special person.  But I realized I don’t have to. Last night, I spent it with three special people. And we had a blast!  Some people described our night out as “Anti-Valentine’s Day.” I think that has a negative connotation. We thought of it as “Single Girls Night Out” – has a nice ring to it, huh?  It was good just to eat, drink, laugh, and tell stories.

To my valentines – many hugs and kisses. I had a wonderful time.  To those I did not see – we missed you! And I wish everyone a very happy V-Day!
